Laurent BORZILLO, winner of the thesis prize: "Defence & Aerospace" chair

In addition to its own research activities, the "Defence & Aerospace" Chair is committed to supporting the work of young researchers who are recognized as being of interest to Defence.

With this in mind, in 2021 the Chair has renewed a thesis prize aimed at rewarding thesis work on security and defense issues of national or European interest.

On October 13 Laurent BORZILLO received an award for his thesis entitled: "Les forces expéditionnaires bi/multinationales en Europe: analyse comparée des politiques d'alliance de la France et de l'Allemagne (1991-2016)".

A member of CEPEL (CNRS - Université de Montpellier) and the Réseaud'Analyse Stratégique, Laurent Borzillo is also a research associate at CCÉAE, Université de Montréal.

Her thesis was carried out within the Doctoral School of Law and Political Science ED461 at the University of Montpellier and in cotutelle with the Department of Political Science at the University of Montreal in Canada, under the supervision of Jean JOANA, thesis director, and Frédéric MÉRAND, thesis co-director.
