The CEPEL, Centre d'Etudes Politiques Et sociaLes, is a joint research unit (UMR 5112) in Political Science and Sociology attached to the University of Montpellier and the CNRS. CEPEL's development is in line with the scientific strategies of its supervisory bodies and, even before it was awarded the MUSE I-SITE, coordinated by the University of Montpellier, it was involved in themes specific to the Montpellier site (health - environment), while retaining its historical skills in the fields of public policy and comparatism.
