En quête de sciences au CNRS | Edition 2024

On the occasion of the 2024 edition of En quête de sciences at CNRS, the documentary "Des goûts de lutte" will be shown on Saturday October 12 at 1pm.

Directed by Emmanuelle Reungoat, research professor at CEPEL, University of Montpellier, and Pierre-Olivier Gaumin, CNRS research engineer, video artist and photographer at MSH-Sud, they will both be present for an exchange/debate after the film.
What imprint does a revolt leave on those who lived through it? By following the intersecting itineraries of Gilets jaunes for several years after the movement, the film questions the evolution of their relationships with the world, politics, violence, otherness or social boundaries. As an echo, a historian and a sociologist make these traces resonate with those of other movements that have left their mark on history, such as the Paris Commune or the Spanish Indignés.
