Death of Jean-Luc Parodi

It is with immense sadness that we learned of the passing of Jean-Luc Parodi during the night of January 20-21, 2022. A prominent figure in our discipline, of which he was one of the most active representatives (as secretary general of the AFSP and director of the RFSP), he also generously bequeathed a substantial part of his academic library to CEPEL. Inaugurated on July 10, 2017, during an official ceremony at the AFSP congress in Montpellier, the "Parodi" collection is now one of the most important collections in our library, offering a wealth of valuable resources to our students and a source of pride for our laboratory. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
