Death of Jean-Luc Parodi

It is with deep sadness that we learned of the passing of Jean-Luc Parodi during the night of January 20–21, 2022. A leading figure in our field, of which he was one of the most active representatives (as Secretary General of the AFSP and Director of the RFSP), he also had the immense generosity to bequeath a substantial portion of his academic library to CEPEL. Inaugurated on July 10, 2017, during an official ceremony at the AFSP conference held in Montpellier, the “Parodi” collection is now one of the most significant collections in our library, offering numerous valuable resources to our students and serving as a source of pride for our laboratory. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
