CEPEL SEMINAR – APRIL 7, 2023
The young researchers at Cepel are pleased to announce, as part of the seminar on current trends in social science research, a session to be held on Friday, April 7, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Linz Room (2nd floor, Building 3) at the University of Montpellier. We are honored to welcome sociologist and political scientist Philippe Aldrin, a professor at Sciences Po Aix and a researcher at the MESOPOLHIS laboratory.
Mr. Aldrin will present his book *L’enquête en danger. Vers un nouveau régime de surveillance dans les sciences sociales* (Research in Jeopardy: Toward a New Regime of Surveillance in the Social Sciences), published by Armand Colin in 2022. The presentation will be followed by a discussion moderated by Eric Savarese, a professor of political science and member of Cepel, and Roman Vareilles, a doctoral student in political science at the University of Montpellier.
We therefore warmly invite you to attend this session, which promises to be a rich opportunity for discussion and reflection on current issues in the production of knowledge about society.
