CEPEL SEMINAR – APRIL 7, 2023
The young researchers at Cepel are pleased to announce, as part of the seminar on current trends in social science research, a session to be held on Friday, April 7, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Linz Room (2nd floor, Building 3) at the University of Montpellier. We are honored to welcome sociologist and political scientist Philippe Aldrin, a professor at Sciences Po Aix and a researcher at the MESOPOLHIS laboratory.
Mr. Aldrin will present his book *L’enquête en danger. Vers un nouveau régime de surveillance dans les sciences sociales* (Research in Jeopardy: Toward a New Regime of Surveillance in the Social Sciences), published by Armand Colin in 2022. The presentation will be followed by a discussion moderated by Eric Savarese, a professor of political science and member of Cepel, and Roman Vareilles, a doctoral student in political science at the University of Montpellier.
We therefore warmly invite you to attend this session, which promises to be rich in discussion and reflection on current issues in the production of knowledge about society.
