Summary:
While anti-imperialism is often reduced to a strategy that replicates the assumptions—if not the reflexes—of the Cold War, decolonialism tends to focus on intellectual and academic issues. Anti-colonialism—its history and its enduring nature—remains outside the frame. Anti-colonial struggles, still relevant today, offer a far more complex perspective on many of today’s issues, at the intersection of geopolitics and social movements.
