Newsletter KIPPT N°1 - September 2024

The first issue of the Key Initiative Politiques Publiques de Transition (KIPPT) newsletter is now available. A new Key Initiative in the Montpellier I-site program of excellence, officially launched in April 2024, KIPPT is the first Key Initiative 100% dedicated to the Humanities and Social Sciences. In a context where supporting transitions towards new, more sustainable and fairer development models has become a challenge for public players, this Key Initiative is designed to foster :

  • Regional, national and international visibility for the expertise of social science researchers at the Montpellier I-Site working on transitional public policies: agriculture and food, health, environment, and beyond, transport, mobility, energy, education, digital...
  • Structuring a lively, interactive and responsive multidisciplinary research community
  • Developing relations with and for society, in particular with public players and their partners

Since April 2024, a number of initiatives have been launched, confirming the anticipated momentum around the theme of public policies for transition. To continue this momentum, KIPPT is now launching this newsletter and the KIPPT website. The purpose of these tools is to share resources and encourage exchanges: don't hesitate to take advantage of them!
