The right to health for incarcerated women: the particular case of pregnancy management in prison
The right to health for incarcerated women is a singular subject that needs to be defined more broadly and thus contextualized within our contemporary society, which no longer condemns minorities to remain in the shadows.
Understanding the shortcomings of healthcare provision for women in prison is part of the current movement of demands, highlighted in particular by #meToo and the denunciation of gynecological and obstetric violence.
