Thesis project
The organization of healthcare provision is currently being reconsidered in light of the combined effects of increased demand for care, changing needs and expectations of the population, changes in the medical workforce, and growing economic pressure. The emergence of age-related diseases, the increase in chronic illnesses, and current public health challenges require the development of new care approaches, which in turn necessitate a redefinition of the scope of healthcare professions.
The law of January 26, 2016, on the modernization of our healthcare system proposes innovation to prepare for the professions of tomorrow by creating an advanced practice for paramedical professions.
The aim of this qualitative ethnographic research is to study how to develop advanced nursing practice within the French healthcare system and to explore the factors that promote the integration of these new professionals into hospitals.
