Thesis project

"The thesis focuses on the budgetary decision-making process of the Regions, in a context marked by the scarcity of their resources since 2010. It seeks to characterize the changes taking place in the financial areas of the Regions, with the introduction of budgetary constraints. It compares the instruments, organizational configurations, political and territorial variables, etc. of three regions (Limousin, Nord-Pas de Calais, Alsace) to analyze the mechanisms of convergence and differentiation that lead to budget reduction choices. To do this, we are analyzing the regions' financial data (based on administrative accounts), conducting semi-structured interviews, and participating in observation over a three-year period (CIFRE contract).
