Thesis project

"This thesis examines the budgetary decision-making process of the Regions, in a context marked by the scarcity of their resources since 2010. It seeks to characterize the changes taking place in the financial domains of the Regions, with the insertion of the budgetary constraint. It compares the instruments, organizational configurations, political and territorial variables, etc. of three Regions (Limousin, Nord-Pas de Calais, Alsace) to analyze the mechanisms of convergence and differentiation that lead to budget reduction choices. To do this, we are mobilizing an analysis of the Regions' financial data (based on administrative accounts), the conduct of semi-directive interviews and participant observation over 3 years (CIFRE contract)."
