IRN (International Research Network) Project

Theme: "Medical Humanities"

Partners: the Universityof Montpellier, CEPEL's supervisory authority, and around ten universities in France (Paris 1, 3, and 7, Strasbourg), Europe (Geneva, London, Lisbon), and North America (New York, Montreal).

Purpose: to clarify the methods and scope of this emerging discipline, to examine the respective positions of the various disciplines involved in it, and to shed light on the concept of "humanity" that it encompasses.

Start date: January 1 , 2019

CNRS grant: approximately €15,000 to cover the costs of a few missions for their members and the organization of scientific events planned on their site.

Planned results: a collective work, a major symposium, and a summer school.
