As part of Japan Week in Occitania, the IRIS Indo-Pacific Geopolitical Observatory is organizing a conference at the University of Montpellier on the theme: France, Japan and the Indo-Pacific.

Participants :

  • Eric MOTTET, co-director of the IRIS Indo-Pacific Geopolitical Observatory and professor at the Université Catholique de Li
  • Nobukatsu KANEHARA, Professor at Doshisha University (Kyoto), former diplomat and diplomatic advisor to Prime Minister Abe Shinzo (via Zoom).
  • Julien AUDEMARD, CNRS researcher at the Centre d'études politiques et sociales (CEPEL), University of Montpellier.
  • Barthelemy COURMONT, head of the IRIS Asia-Pacific program and lecturer (HDR) at the Université Catholique de Lille.
  • Marianne PERON-DOISE, Director of the IRIS Indo-Pacific Geopolitical Observatory.
  • Julia TASSE, Director of Research at IRIS and head of the Climate, Energy and Security Program.
