Screening and discussion of the documentary *Des Gouts de Lutte* at the Cinémistral on Thursday, May 30, at 8:30 p.m., in partnership with La Grève, the LDH, and Attac Sète Bassin de Thau.
The screening will be followed by a discussion with the filmmakers, moderated by Cécile Hautefeuille, a journalist at Médiapart.
Synopsis: “In 2018, they stormed into the political arena. By donning a yellow vest, they rebelled for the first time in their lives.”
The film tells the story of what happened afterward.
Through their intersecting paths, we see life journeys that have been altered—put on hold, derailed, or illuminated by this decisive experience that will, in one way or another, politicize their lives. Echoing the stories of other uprisings, the film explores the nature of citizenship and the emancipatory power of revolt. “
