Session 4 of the Seminar on Current Trends in Social Science Research – February 6, 2026

As part of the seminar on current trends in social science research, we are pleased to welcome Emmanuel Blanchard, a professor at Sciences Po Saint-Germain-en-Laye and a researcher at CESDIP, on Friday, February 6, to present his book:

Unruly Colonized People: Letters from Algerians to the French Authorities (Akbou, Paris, 1919–1940), Presses de Sciences Po, 2024.

The seminar will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the University of Montpellier’s School of Law and Political Science, Building 3, Linz Room.

The session will be discussed by Éric Savarese, professor at the University of Montpellier and researcher at CEPEL, and Anne Goerens, a Ph.D. candidate in political science at the University of Montpellier and a researcher at CEPEL.
