Thesis project
Abstract:The aim of this thesis research was to contribute to understanding the transformation of the French education system and the state by examining the specific characteristics of the territories in which it operates and the differentiated treatment of populations through it. Specifically, it sought to address, through the narrow focus of a single department, the issues revealed by a "diversity" program launched at the city level in 2016. The study was conducted among various communities and groups of actors involved in the process of school re-sectorization, the stated objective of which is to "increase diversity."Ultimately, the dynamics that shape the territory are based on the logic of categorization and spatialized treatment of populations.
