Having a Voice: Peripheries and Participation at the Heart of Cultural Policies | November 16–19, 2022 | Lisbon + Moita. Co-organized by Be SpectACTive and Stronger Peripheries: A Southern Coalition, two European networks of which CEPEL is a partner. 3 days of talks, roundtables, and workshops to learn and discuss with Décoloniser Les Arts, La saison artistique de Melando, Festival-sur-Le-Niger, Largo Residências, Marcia Tiburi, and many other cultural actors, artists, and researchers, about “peripheral conditions,” participation, democracy, North/South relations, and inequalities (gender, racial, class, territorial, etc.) in cultural projects and policies—and how we might transform them.
