THESIS PROJECT
The aim of this thesis will be to conduct an in-depth analysis of the idea of class struggle today, which does not have the same meaning as in the past, as each society is characterized by different social groups. While at the end of the last century it was believed that classes no longer existed, they have been rematerialized in an extremely visible way by the pandemic and contemporary social movements. We are seeing the return of class struggle, in a context of crisis and worsening inequalities, with new perspectives. The usefulness of this work will therefore lie in the empirical problem of social classes and their evolution over the last few decades, by questioning the concept of social class and the new forms of class struggle that characterize recent social movements, taking into account the growing resentment that is the very fuel behind the emergence of these movements.
